We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functioning website along with our content and services. Processing generally takes place only with the user's consent or on the basis of a legal permission (Art. 6(1) GDPR).
This website is hosted on our own servers operated at Hetzner Online GmbH (Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany). When you access the website, the server automatically collects technical data in server log files transmitted by your browser: IP address, date and time of the request, browser type and version, operating system, and referrer URL. This data is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
If you contact us by email, phone, or through our booking form, we store the information you provide for the purpose of handling your inquiry and in case of any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
To book consultation appointments, we use a self-hosted instance of Easy!Appointments running on our own servers in Germany (meet.aktuno.com). The information you provide is used solely for appointment management. No data is transferred to third-party providers outside the EU. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
We use the following analytics tools to understand how our website is used and to improve it:
This website uses Umami, a privacy-friendly web analytics solution hosted on our own servers in Germany. Umami sets no cookies, stores no personal data, and creates no individual user profiles. All data is evaluated in anonymised form. Since no personal data within the meaning of the GDPR is processed, no consent is required. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
We use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). Google Analytics is technically loaded on every page visit, but uses Google Consent Mode: without your consent ("Analytics" category), data storage defaults to "denied" - no cookies are set and no personal identifiers are stored. Only once you give consent does Google Analytics evaluate your browsing behaviour on our website on a personal basis and transmit the corresponding data to Google's servers. The legal basis for processing after consent is Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Opt-out: You can withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the footer.
We use Google Tag Manager from Google Ireland Limited to manage tags centrally and implement Consent Mode. Tag Manager itself does not collect personal data and does not set cookies - it technically loads on every page visit, but ensures that the tags it manages (e.g. Google Analytics) only process personal data once you have consented to the "Analytics" category.
If you consent to the "Marketing" category, tracking technologies from advertising networks (e.g., Meta) may be activated on this website, enabling personalised ads to be shown to you on other websites. At the current time, no advertising pixel is actively embedded. Should this change in the future, we will update this privacy policy accordingly.
On your first visit to this website, your cookie preferences are requested via a consent banner. Your selection is stored in your browser (localStorage, key: aktuno_cookie_consent). Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn or changed at any time via the "Cookie Settings" link in the website footer. The three categories are:
This website uses SSL/TLS encryption for security reasons. You can recognise an encrypted connection when the address bar switches from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.
You have the right at any time to request information (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent data protection supervisory authority.
